Artspace Warehouse presents As If Remembered, an exhibition shaped by the elusive clarity of memory. The works on view echo the sensation of recalling something just as it begins to fade—where forms hover between states of becoming and dissolving. Color drifts like passing thought, threads shimmer in shifting light, and metallic shapes seem to waver as they rise. Together, they hold onto what cannot be kept, as if pausing time on a moment already slipping from reach.
Kristina Fjellman creates delicate thread and wire sculptures that seem to suspend fragments of the natural world in midair. Drawing on its vivid palettes and shifting rhythms, she shapes forms that hover between the real and the imagined. Light glances across their layered surfaces, casting fleeting shadows that vanish as quickly as they appear.
Vé Boisvert paints vibrant, flowing compositions that seem to carry light within their layers. Drawing on the quiet vitality of the natural world, her works channel its sense of renewal while holding its calm. Soft currents of movement and shifting tones drift across the surface like moments surfacing and fading, luminous yet just out of reach.
Atticus Adams shapes industrial mesh and metal into airy, organic sculptures that appear to hover in space. Built from resilient materials yet marked by a sense of fragility, these forms seem to waver between presence and disappearance. Their delicate folds catch the light in shifting patterns, like impressions that dissolve the moment they are seen.
Greet Helsen creates airy, abstract paintings where color drifts in translucent layers and dissolving edges blur the boundaries of form. Lines slip across the surface like passing thoughts, briefly anchoring color before it drifts away again. Each composition feels held in suspension, its shifting tones lingering like something half-remembered.
LE BohemianMuse creates layered mixed media works that seem to surface like fragments from a dream. Fluid lines drift across gauzy washes of color, forming shapes that emerge only to dissolve back into the atmosphere. Their shifting layers carry the trace of emotion as it rises and disperses, elusive yet deeply felt.
Since the opening of Artspace Warehouse in 2010, the gallery continues to be an industry leader in affordable, museum-quality artworks making collecting art accessible and budget-friendly.
