About

Kevin Perrault’s sculptural work exists at the intersection of permanence and play, blending monumentality with quiet intimacy. Working primarily in copper and stone, his figurative sculptures feel both timeless and contemporary. The refined copper figures perch, balance, and rest atop carefully selected stones, their calm gestures and subtle movement creating moments of stillness and connection. Raw natural textures contrast with the warmth of walnut bases, grounding each piece in a sense of human scale and material honesty.

This original sculpture measures 15 inches high, 5 inches wide, and 3.5 inches deep. It is hand-fabricated in copper and stone and mounted on an oil-rubbed walnut base. Each work is one of a kind, with stones chosen for their unique character and copper shaped and refined by hand. This sculpture can be displayed easily on any flat surface. Convenient local Los Angeles delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and International shipping available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included.

Perrault’s sculptural language draws from archetype rather than explicit narrative, allowing his work to feel universally familiar while remaining open-ended. Surfers frozen mid-flow, figures standing in quiet companionship, and solitary characters at rest invite viewers to project their own experiences onto the work. Small gestures carry emotional weight, and stillness becomes as powerful as motion. His sculptures resonate with collectors drawn to contemporary figurative work that values restraint, craftsmanship, and emotional clarity, echoing traditions that merge modern material sensibilities with classical human presence.

Kevin Perrault is a Los Angeles–born sculptor whose path to art was unconventional. After studying design at UCLA in 2001 and competing at the highest level of collegiate athletics as part of a national championship soccer team, he spent more than two decades working in a family business, building a life rooted in responsibility outside the art world. When he returned to sculpture, he did so with renewed purpose, bringing discipline, patience, and lived experience into the studio. That depth is felt in the quiet confidence of his work and in the care with which each piece is made.

Perrault’s sculptures do not seek to dominate a space, but to anchor it - inviting pause, reflection, and connection. His work has gained increasing recognition, including a 2025 solo exhibition Gentle Giants at DACHA in Manhattan Beach, along with group exhibitions at Oceanside Museum of Art, the California Surf Museum, TAG Gallery, and Art Week Miami. Featured in Visual Art Journal, Suboart Magazine, and 100 Emerging Artworks – 2025 Edition, his sculptures are held in private collections in the United States and England. Across his practice, Kevin Perrault creates works that honor shared humanity - enduring yet tender, grounded yet aspirational.
