About

With an emphasis on minimalist geometry and bold colors within his original artworks, British artist Paul Westacott takes inspiration from the sunny California landscape to create his abstract paintings. The exploration of visual relationships is fundamental to Westacott’s work. The dialogue between color, form, line, and repetition is the vocabulary of the language that he uses to explore these relationships.

This original 62-inch high by 34.5-inch wide acrylic painting is wired and ready to hang. It does not require framing. This artwork is signed by the artist on the back. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable U.S. and worldwide shipping are available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included.

Westacott's work is a celebration of color as a medium of joy and transformation. The power of color can reach deep into the unconscious to affect emotions, transport us to another time or place, disrupt perceptions and change minds. His work is intended as a portal, a way to tap into the transformative power of art through color. His original artworks have been exhibited in the US and UK.

Paul Westacott

With an emphasis on geometry and color within his modern minimalist artworks, British artist Paul Westacott takes inspiration from the sunny California landscape to create his abstract original paintings. The exploration of visual relationships is fundamental to Westacott’s work. The dialogue between color, form, line, and repetition is the vocabulary of the language that he uses to explore these relationships.

Westacott grew up in northern England and studied at the Cardiff College of Art. The rainy climate he grew up in shaped his appreciation and captivation with the light and color of Southern California. When creating his works and choosing colors, he seeks to have the colors themselves inspire joy and transformation.
