Artem Ryskin

Artem Ryskin’s artworks are heavily influenced by computer graphics while he incorporates realism and three-dimensionality in his unique artworks created with screws and acrylic paint. His works center around important things of life, such as love, freedom, and humor.

His three dimensional works are composed of hundreds and sometimes thousands of screws drilled in different depths into a wood panel, giving the artwork a sculptural finish before he carefully applies acrylic paint individually onto each screw head. Ryskin describes each scre as “a piece of the reality around us.” He adds implied shadows, adding to the optical illusion that attract art collectors worldwide wanting to examine his eye-catching works up close. The resulting artworks are truly impressive given the complex detailing and protruding imagery.
