About

James Zamora's realistic “aisle paintings” are well-known throughout the US. Using different spatial compositions the artist translates common marketplace imagery into a stylized, elevated environment. Working in oil on canvas, he explores the representation of elements that surround us in daily life in unexpected still lifes. Zamora's artworks examine the particularity between the relationship of our eyes with the subtleties of our immediate reaction. His paintings investigate current supermarket trends and the response of the consumer captivated by the abundance of delightful choices.

This one-of-a-kind 12-inch square original artwork is wired, and ready to hang. It is painted on a 1 and 1/2-inch thick wood panel. A certificate of authenticity issued by the gallery is included. Convenient local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and global shipping available. Provenance: Artspace Warehouse.

Zamora is an American artist who earned his BFA in painting and drawing from The University of North Texas in 2010, followed by an MFA in painting from Texas Woman's University in 2015. His works have been exhibited throughout the USA and are in numerous private and public collections.
