Immurs holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from McMaster University and studied textiles at Sheridan College.

In 2013, her images were used for banners on Hamilton’s King William Street Artists Walk. She was also chosen to paint a giant soccer ball for the 2015 Pan Am Games and create banners for Canada’s 150th anniversary, displayed in Hamilton’s downtown.
