About

Stefan Meyer is interested in the spontaneous, subconscious effects of pictorial design and assemblage. The genius of his expression is fresh and youthfully fascinating. In his latest works, Stefan creates a distinctive world of characters and figures in a mixture of painting, drawing, and collage. His humanoid figures are often found to relate to one another.

This colorful mixed media artwork on canvas is 28 inches tall by 20 inches wide. It is signed by the artist on the front. Affordable delivery, continental and international shipping options are available. This artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity issued by the gallery.

Stefan Meyer was born in Basel in 1964. He is a poly-designer and freelance artist. "To deal exclusively with painting is not enough for me. I would like to incorporate the craft in a picture or object". On flea markets and junk yards, he finds items such as old etchings and rusty tools. He combines them in interesting ways with picturesque areas such as wood panels and screens. Thus, diverse assemblages are created.
