About

Laura Schuler is a mixed media artist living and working in Los Angeles, California. Her style of art represents an expression of movement and energy that incorporates layers of acrylic paint intersecting with spray paint. She works hard to manipulate acrylic paint in innovate ways to create lightness in layers and odes to other media. Through the layering and movement within each of her artworks, her style can often resemble underwater seascapes. Schuler continuously experiments with colors and shapes that highlight negative space. Her marks capture her highly gestural process of paintings that harness iterative physicality and flow.

This 36 inch square blue, black and white original artwork is wired and ready to hang. The sides of the artwork are painted and it does not require framing. It is signed and titled by the artist on the back of the painting. Affordable US and worldwide shipping. A certificate of authenticity issued by the gallery is included.

Schuler always begins through the focus on a singular color which guides the following spontaneity on canvas. While creating each artwork, she rotates the canvas and views the canvas from various angles to inspire further creativity. Schuler's works have been exhibited at Artspace Warehouse Los Angeles and collected throughout the United States, as well as internationally.
